This lovely powder and mirror compact was made by Rex Fifth Avenue and dates to the 1940s. It is is made of celluloid and brass metal. The top is ivory/cream in color with pansy flowers in pastel colors. The bottom is white. It is marked MADE IN U.S.A. PAT. 2163429. This compact is unused and comes with its original box.

This compact measures 4-5/8 inches in diameter and almost 1/2 inch high. As it is unused, it is in excellent condition. The mirror has some spots and cloudiness due to age. The box is also in excellent condition for its age.

In the very rare instance that an item arrives damaged, you must notify me within 3 days of receipt of the item. Please save the box and packing materials. I will need a few photos of the damaged item and the box/packing materials to file an insurance claim.

The shipping method used will vary according to the size, weight, and destination of the item. I ship via USPS Priority Mail within the US most often (but not always).

If you are purchasing more than one item, I will combine shipping whenever possible to keep the shipping fee as low as possible.

I pack very carefully, and I use recycled packing materials whenever possible.
