Made this too late in the season for 2018. Discounted as my work has progressed since then!

Yule is a pre-Christian Winter celebration of Germanic origin. Some today use the word without religious connotations as general end of the year terminology associated with the holiday season. Others use it as the name of their main Winter season holiday that’s typically associated with Odin, Frau Holle, The Wild Hunt, symbols and animals such as the Yule Goat and Boar, the Yule log, etc. Many modern Pagans celebrate it on December 21st or as a longer seasonal celebration. “Glad Yule” would be said or written like “Merry Christmas” or “Happy (Insert Holiday Here).”

I used white embroidery floss as a contrast against the red with lighter red polka dots cotton fabric. It’s a 3 inch hoop painted with a gold metallic acrylic paint. The entire wood part was then sealed with modge podge.

The excess fabric has been glued down onto felt unlike many of my other embroideries. This is a less visually appealing look but is less bulky and allows it to lay more flatly against the wall where the inside cannot be seen.

Please refer to my policies before purchasing this item. We are a pet and smoker free but incense friendly home. If you’re curious about what things are burned in our home please feel free to contact me.

Thank you!
