Description

This Tan-Antiqued Medium Brown cuff is made from 6-oz full-grain tooling leather, hand cut and split from shorter pieces of our belt leather. I hand tool this with a Celtic design, then hand-dye and finish each piece individually. Closure is one Brass-plated snap.

This item is approximately 1.25 inches wide and fits an 6 1/4" wrist, snugly. It can also be worn as a bangle on smaller wrists.

We can make one for you in any wrist size that you wish. Please state the desired size on your order.

Shipping and Insurance are included for All domestic (USA) shipments. Unconfirmed addresses may require the signature of a recipient.
Normally, I will ship by USPS Parcel Post or First Class mail. My Non-USA shipments are not insured or tracked through the US Postal Service. (Other shipment methods for International delivery are still being investigated for better international service.)

Priority Shipping:
Please contact me before entering your order if you need a priority shipment. Priority Mail is available and I can bill separately for the difference between my normal shipping method and Priority Mail (Normally about a $4.25 added charge for a medium package-sized order).

Duty and Customs:
If you are outside of the USA, payment of any Duty or Customs fees is your responsibility.

ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES:
For orders that include multiple items, I will recalculate shipping for the order according to your country and/or Postal Zone, and provide an appropriate Shipping Rebate via PayPal. PayPal then refunds you for that amount according to the payment method you chose for the transaction. (This applies to US Domestic shipping. No international guarantees or postal insurance is available at this time.)

Sizing of items is very important. If you have ordered a cuff or belt, but have not supplied the necessary measurement, I will contact you via an Etsy Convo for the information. If I do not get an answer within 3 days of my note to you, I will have to cancel your order, and refund your payment. If cancellation occurs, I will send you another note explaining the situation. All merchandise on the cancelled order will be automatically re-stocked in my Etsy shop, and the original transaction will be null and void.

Sizing Guidelines:

**** BELTS ****
Never assume that your Pant/Waist size and Belt size are the Same... EVERYONE'S personal geometry is different! Also check your tape measure against a rigid measurement tool or a steel tape. I have found that some of my own fabric tape measures have shrunken after I have used them for too long.
I will size belts to the nearest 1/4 inch or 1/2 cm.

Method A:
If you have a belt that fits you correctly at the waist (or hip) level where you want to wear your new belt, then measure that belt from the hole you use MOST, back to where the buckle tang meets the buckle end farthest from the hole where you started. This is very important... Be sure to measure along the center of the belt. Good leather curves over time to exactly fit the person wearing it. New leather will do the same, becoming more and more comfortable as it is worn.

Method B:
If you do not have such a belt, please use this process:
1) Put on the article of clothing that you intend to wear the belt with. Measuring this while wearing the clothing is the only way to produce the precisely correct size.
2) Use a flexible, non-stretching and accurate Tape Measure to measure THROUGH the BELT LOOPS of the clothing on which you will wear the belt. (String will NOT work for this since string will stretch and contract too easily.) Hold the tape Snugly while standing and relaxed.
**IMPORTANT**: Do NOT Bend your head down to read the tape. This can add 2 or more inches to your measurement. Pinch the tape with your thumb and forefinger, then remove the tape and read your measurement at your fingertips and verify its accuracy as described above.

Either measurement method should produce a Snug fit. 1/2 or 1/4 inch, or metric measurements are fine, it does not have to be an even size, we're making your own personal belt.

Write the measurement on your order, and I will size the belt to that measurement.

**** Cuffs / Wristbands ****
For Cuffs, especially wide cuffs, please measure your wrist or arm at BOTH the top and the bottom of the location where you want to wear the cuff. If they are not the same, include both measurements on your order. I will make the cuff to fit the larger measurement snugly. Single-snap cuffs will be most comfortable this way.
For a SNUG FIT, be SURE to hold the tape so that it only touches the skin all around. If you pull it tight, the cuff will not fit properly.

When I size belts, my standard punching pattern is 5 holes, 7/8" apart. This is not the only option. You may have either the standard 5, or the optional 8 buckle holes.
The 3rd hole is the standard Primary hole on either option. This allows for the change of a buckle to a longer-than-standard "trophy" or "plaque" buckle, and a minimal amount of stretching as the belt conforms to you. The 3rd hole will be placed at the size you specify on your order.
The 8-hole option allows for more wardrobe flexibility, allowing you to wear the belt at either the waist or the hip.
Of course, you may order other non-standard Specific hole measurements as you may need. Here is a crude diagram of a belt with the 8-hole option.

The "x" shows the 3rd hole being the measured one. You can copy this on to your order and place the "x" and "o" symbols where you want your measurements.


CUSTOM ORDERS:
At this time, the only Custom Orders that I can fulfill are for minor changes to items that are already on the store site, either for sale or already sold.
Examples are:
- Change hardware from Brass to Nickel or vice-versa
- Same Product Design in a different width or size
- Plain belts, No Tooling
- Same Product Design in a different color
- Limited ability to change buckle from that shown on the store site
- Stamping of initials or names to customize a stock item (Not center names on belts)
