The PS Co. is the Plainville Stock Company out of Plainville, Massachusetts. The mark on this Victorian Two Hearts Entwined pin or brooch was first used in 1884. One heart is deeply embossed with a swirling design; the other is simple and plain. Measures 1-1/8" x 13/16". The back features a long hook from which to hand a treasured locket or watch - yours to add. Pin stem has what appears to be a deliberate curve near the hinge. Old C Clasp, as you would expect to see on a pin of this age. The PS Company worked in gold fill. I've seen a lot of their pieces marked as such. This one only has the PS Co. mark on the C Clasp but appears to be a rolled gold or fill. Since I can't make that guarantee, please take this information as simply that. It would polish up nicely as a result. I leave that to you and let it retain its gorgeous patina for now.
