Description

This is a one-off pre-order listing for my past Wizarding club colourways as mini skeins. Over the past year or so I have run a Wizarding yarn club, inspired by the wonderful Harry Potter series, by J.K. Rowling. This is your chance to get all of the colourways in one go (or two!).

You can choose to purchase the full set of 27 skeins in one go, or just the first 14 or second 13 colourways - please see below for details. I will not be able to swap colours out from one set to the other. There will be no extras, this is just for yarn!

If you would like to spread the cost please purchase the first set and when you are ready to purchase the second set contact me via Etsy message BEFORE checking out and I will give you a code to balance the second shipping cost. Please note I will not refund shipping costs if you have already checked out the two sets separately. Adjusted shipping will only be given for the second set if the first has been paid for in full.

The listing will be available until 1st March. I will dye all orders together after this time, so please be patient - dyeing 27 colours will take some time. I may dye a few extra sets, but have no plans to repeat this again and cannot fulfil one-off orders for minis in many colourways here, so this may be your only chance!

Bases available;
75% sw merino/25% nylon sock - 85m/20g
75% sw merino/20% nylon/5% sparkle sock - 80m/20g
100% sw merino dk (crazy 8) - 50m/20g.

You can find some of the colourways in my other Wizarding pre-order listing (for full skeins), although not all have been released as yet and I cannot fit all of the pictures on the listing.

Please note that the term 'sock' is generic and these yarns are otherwise known as fingering or 4-ply, the word sock in no way limits them to or recommends them for use in socks.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Please note that different yarn bases take dyes differently. There are a lot of factors involved in hand dyeing; I dye in small batches, but even skeins dyed together may not be exactly the same, so you may choose to alternate yarns in your projects.

I do my utmost to represent colours to the best of my ability in all of my listings, but please take into account different monitors may show colours differently.

FAQs

Custom orders are most welcome. I love to work to order. If you don't see what you are looking for in my shop, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Custom items cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Postage costs will not be refunded.
Payment installments can be discussed, however once an installment, deposit or full payment has been paid it is non-refundable.
I will not start work on your order until payment has been made in full.
If you have bought hand dyed yarn or knitted items I would suggest hand washing your finished items with a gentle, suitable wool wash.
Hand dyed yarns may, on occasion, 'bleed' into your washing water - this is due to a little excess dye being left over from the dyeing process and should rinse out. If you wish to use a little white vinegar in your rinsing water this can help.
Scented wool washes, lanolins or knitting with hand creams, or even just the pH of our skin can sometimes cause the dyes to bleed - this is called 'crocking'. In the event of this happening with your yarn I cannot accept returns or refund your purchase.
Wholesale orders are welcome. Please contact me to discuss details. My hand dyed yarns can currently be found at Pink Milk, Leicester, Wool N Stuff, Wakefield and also at the Australian eBay shop A Chronic Yarnoholic.
Unfortunately due to repeated issues with the French postal system all parcels to France will need to be tracked, hence the high postage cost. I will not refund or replace any missing items to France until at least 30 working days have passed from the date posted.
