This is an elegant gold washed sterling silver and white guilloché enamel leaf necklace. The design was executed by Willy Winnaess in 1955 while employed by David Anderson. It’s design aesthetic is very true to the 1950s mid-century Style. Twenty-two panels of two pearly white leaves are seamlessly linked to lay comfortably on the neck. The clasp is fairly hidden to make the necklace appear endless.
This classic necklace is from one of Scandinavias finest silversmiths and showcases the fine enamel work the company is world famous for.
Priced very reasonably.
Condition is excellent, there is no chipping to the enameling and the gold vermeil is intact. The necklace measures 16-1/4" and fastens with a bolt ring, links are 1-1/4" by 3/8"

It is marked "David- Anderson Norway Sterling 925S" and also "W" in a circle for Willy Winnaess.
