A pendant necklace with 2 orthoceras fossils displayed on the front (large & small), plus several small pieces on the back of the stone. These ancient cephalopod creatures make an unusual pendant; most necklaces like this only have one complete fossil per stone. Please check all of the photos!
The fossil stone is 4.8 cm (almost 2 inches) long, & 1.8 cm (3/4 of an inch) across at the widest part. The wire-wrapped bail is sterling silver.
The orthoceras pendant comes on a silver-plated chain with a self-closing clasp, which is great for people with dexterity or mobility issues - no fumbling with the usual lobster clasps.
The bail is large enough so that you can remove the pendant from the chain & add it to your own necklaces instead. You can also purchase a sterling silver chain to go with this pendant: http://etsy.me/16uTgQ1
