Vintage Roger, Smith & Co. Antique Silver Plated Butter Dish

7 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" diameter. Few surface scratches that I'm pretty sure can be buffed out. Very unique butter dish that was made by Roger, Smith & Co. from New Haven, Connecticut. On January 13, 1863 company was bought my Meriden Britannia Co which continued in New Haven using Rogers, Smith & Co. marks. In june 1965 the platting shop moved to Meriden Connecticut and the marks will read Meriden. All facilities incorporated into Meriden Britannia Co. by 1877. With all that said I believe this was made between 1862 and 1865.

Will refund excess shipping charges on combined and single purchases less $1.00.
