Guido Gambone Lg. "Bulls Eye" Bowl:

A beautiful piece of mid-century Italian art pottery by Gudio Gambone. This was produced near the end of his career in the late 1960's and is a very tight and masterful in it's execution. By this time Gambone abandoned the traditional "Donkey" mark and was just signing the pieces as you see here. This is NOT to be confused with later pieces produced by his son (also a well respected ceramic artist) Bruno Gambone. The minimal geometric design combined with the shocking blue make for a very mod statement. The large 12 x 12" size will be sure to stand out in any collection. Please contact us with any questions you may have or for additional high resolution images. In person viewing is welcome and encouraged if you are local.

Measurements: 12 x 12"

Condition: Excellent original condition with normal Gambone crazing to glaze throughout. Signed "Gambone Italy" on the bottom.
