Description

Very fun vintage light up advertising wall clock for Sun Crest soda pop, with a large orange soda bottle on a lime green circle. This 1950s era clock (perfect for a diner or country store) is a rare 15 inch bubble clock, with two layers of glass: a flat piece with the clock face numbers and illustration on it, and a rounded dome over it. The clock was made by Telechron and takes two 15 watt bulbs (not included). It lights up nicely and runs very well and quietly, though it hasn't been serviced or checked for accuracy.

The clock is in very good condition overall. The central illustration and numbers show no wear, but the glass does have a few chips on the edges (mostly hidden by the chrome band that holds it all together). The chrome band itself has a dent or two, and there are some scratches on the bubble glass. The paint on the hands has some chipping. The back of the case is scuffed up. The original cord and plug have been replaced.

The flat glass is printed along the bottom: "Sun Crest-1 [the word Telechron is missing here] Inc., Ashland, Mass. U.S.A. C.A.P."

Size: 15 inches across x 3.5 inches deep (38 x 8.9 cm), with a 9 foot long cord (274.4 cm)

Note: No warranties or guarantees are given for vintage electronics.
