Everything you need to know to sew an owl sculpture is in this 31 page pdf loaded with photos (there are more than 130), instruction, tips and tricks as well as a supply and resource lists. Every detail is explained and each element is broken down into easy to follow steps. You will learn to sew, stuff and sculpt the body shape, create layers of intricate looking feathery textures, make talons and create hooded glowering eyes.
This is a sewing pattern (downloadable PDF) and is about 5 MB in size. You will need Adobe Reader (free) to view this pattern. The templates makes an owl approximately 9 inches tall.
Skill level is advanced beginners (if you have a lot of patience with yourself) and above – requiring basic sewing skills – the owls can be sewn entirely by hand or parts can be machine sewn.
