This listing is for the PDF of a crochet pattern to make your own adorable tiny elf ornament! It is -not- an actual, finished elf, although I do have those for sale in my shop as well. This pattern is an awesome stashbuster, and you can turn it into so many things: jewelry, ornaments, fridge magnets, gift-toppers, etc!

I would say that you should be an intermediate beginner. You'll be working in the round and using single crochet stitches, but since the project is quite small, a beginner-beginner may find the project frustrating. You can always use a bigger hook and thicker yarn to start. You'll just have a bigger elf :).
