Description

This item is Proudly Native American Made and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity stating my enrollment and clan information. I am also a member of the Native American Arts & Craft Association.
Portions of each sale go to my local community, tribe etc.

The spirit of the coyote has long been a part of Native American culture and lore. Coyote was the trickster he showed the people what not to do by doing it. This necklace was made to honor coyote and the lessons he teaches our children. An actual coyote tooth has been hand drilled and strung onto this cord. I chose to place the white buffalo bone beads on here because buffalo is protector and white represents purity. Green beads to recognize the color of life.

This coyote was not wasted, he was used in a good way. His pelt was tanned for a ceremonial headdress, his meat that wasn't turned into a stew was sent to the local raptor rehab facility to help feed injured birds of prey. You are supporting a non-wasting shop. Special songs were sung while creating this piece, prayers and thoughts for the animal that gave life so that the people could continue to live.

Necklace is made with a clasp approx 19" long tooth measures 1.5" long this is the necklace you will receive. Ships first class in a bubbled mailer, shipping pays for mailer and actual postage.
Last picture in this listing is a photo of the actual artist.

Please note teeth and claws etc although sealed are fragile and can crack depending on humidity, temperature change and if dropped shatter. I do not guarantee my teeth to not crack, I take every step possible to seal them to help them last a lifetime but nature will do what it and I can't protect from acts of God.

Is there up-keep to this product?

As with all natural things they will want to deteriorate. The ultimate enemy of my products is MOISTURE! Bacteria live and breed in moisture and wet climates. To ensure your product has a long life do NOT allow it to get wet, a few rain drops wont hurt but I do NOT suggest showering, submerging, swimming, sweat lodging ect with any of these products.

Warranty

my products are nature made. Claws break, teeth crack and bones chip. There is no warranty on the actual animal item, claw or tooth things. Everything possible to ensure this product lasts a very long time has been taken. So long as the product is taken care of in a respectful manner it should last a while. All claws are cleaned, polished and sealed as are all skulls bones etc. If buyer chooses for me to not seal the items it is at the buyers risk. All items ship insured if damaged by mail you will have to submit to me the required information for me to be able to refund you. With daily wear a clasp or string can breakIf this happens to you I will fix or replace it free of charge so long as the business is in standing. Crafty Crawford will not replace claws/teeth etc. that are lost or broken when this happens as I can't be responsible for natural occurring wear on cord or life iteself. Some of my necklaces have lasted over 5 years on this cord. Cords are made of 100% natural cotton material NOT leather as leather breaks within 2 months of use and rots with body sweat. However if the buyer wants to pay more to have it strung on wire I will do so. Buyer will pay all shipping both ways to have any and all repair done. Please purchase insurance as Crafty Crawford will not be held responsible for lost or damaged property in the mail. Again these are natural materials made by mother nature. I do my best to make all products carefully and will work with you to make sure you are not disappointmented but can not protect against life's happenings. Thank you for understanding items are under warranty for 30 days after purchase. Necklace clasps and string I will repair again, so long as business is in business.
