patanjali : artist designed postcard

Sage Patanjali penned the Yoga Sutras and is a symbol for the transformative path of yoga. This artist-created postcard of Patanjali holds a conch representing alertness and disc destruction of ignorance. Three and a half coils symbolize many things including - the gunas (sattva, rajas, tamas); the three types of suffering, namely adhyatmika, adhibhautika and adhidaivika; the Pranava Āum, a mystical symbol conveying the concept of God as generator, organizer and destroyer. This is the perfect postcard for any yogi on the path to spiritual enlightenment.
