Two skeins of rich leafy green and velvety purple handspun yarn. This yarn was spun from FreckleFaceFibers roving in the colorway: Scottish Thistle. The single ply of medium easy twist really shows off the depth of the color.
Lofty and soft in one ply, like malabrigo or noro. The weight is mostly sock/sport with weight variations, as handspun is wont to have. These two skeins total approximately 550 yards.
Care: gentle wash cold, air dry. I recommend a lingerie bag for the washing. Single ply can be more susceptible to unwanted felting.
All Arachne's Threads come from a smoke-free home. My pal Cerberus--the three headed dog--shares my web, but he's never interested in my yarny stuff.
I try to make the colors on the screen as accurate as possible, but please remember: monitors vary.
Message me for info about combined shipping or shipping outside the continental United States.
I recommend gentle care for all my threads. Hand-washing and Soak Wash is good for almost anything. http://www.soakwash.com/
