Head back to the 19th century when this map was produced, in glorious detail with counties, cities, towns, highways, railroad lines and rivers. North Carolina was admitted to the Union in 1789 as the 12th State. It's also known as The Tar Heel State and The Old North State.

This beautiful map is hand-colored and was salvaged from an 1897 encyclopedia. In excellent condition, the map measures 10.5 x 15 inches. The paper is blank on the reverse side and in its original center fold. The map also includes a small inset map of the western part of North Carolina.

Matted and framed, maps look spectacular in grouping of pictures. Own a piece of history for yourself or as a gift.

Your map will be mailed in its original center-fold in a non-bendable mailer carefully housed in an archival sleeve by First Class Mail.
