Bracelet is reserved.

This heavy sterling silver bracelet, made up of hinged segments, has a bold industrial, architectonic shape. The raised central plaque is inlaid with tiger eye and is flanked by curved pieces that circle the wrist.

In years of looking at Mexican modernist jewelry, I have not see a similar design--it looks more Scandinvian than Mexican.

The bracelet is incredibly well made with hinged segments, layered central element with the stone held up on posts, and even the back is beautiful. It closes with a sturdy box clasp with safety chain.
Size: 2 5/8” at widest point 3” wide opening with safety chain

Marks: Taxco Mexico 925 ASC (?) MEXICO Eagle I--The eagle 1 mark indicates that the piece was made some time around 1948-1950s when the eagle mark was re-introduced in Mexico. The maker mark is worn but appears to be ASC.

Condition: There are some very fine cracks in the stones that don't look like they will break further and look worse under magnification--hardly visible to the naked eye. Clasp has some dings.
