"CAUSE I REALLY DON'T BELIEVE THAT YOU GOT A HEADACHE"
-Yeastie Girlz

ALSO AVAILABLE AS A KEY CHAIN [etsy.com/listing/615449057]

SuperSucker50 are upcycled accessories, hand made from empty nitrousoxide (N2O) cartridges, cherry picked from the streets by Baschz Leeft, starting mid 2017.

Each whipped cream charger (whippit, whippet, nang, nossy or charger) is hand engraved with the date and coordinates of its find, fitted with a vintage frill-less Eighties Christmas ornament cap and hanger and packed in a chic signed and numbered black cardboard box, hand pulled screen printed with silver ink and lined with black silk paper, inspired by the mystical, carefully packaged Christmas tree topper from the artist's youth.

SuperSucker50 is a social commentary project addressing the new silver littering, due to the increasing recreational use of whipped cream chargers. Apart from celebrating the canisters' beautiful shape, reminiscent of the water reservoir of the very first SuperSoaker, it also says something about their more current use. The sampled logo refers to both the literal and figurative meaning of the word 'sucker', while also the original 'air pressure' has been changed to 'peer pressure' for this occasion.

All canisters are found objects. Some look shiny and new, others are run over, scratched, rusted; they all have their own story. All canisters have been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before being used.
