This gorgeous 18-inch square pillow is made from a silk and velvet crazy quilt block made in the 1880s. The handwork in the block is stunning and includes a handpainted flower, chenille and floss embroidery, a ribbon flower and even a silk-covered button. The embroidery includes flowers, a bouquet and a sweet little kitty cat. There is a one-inch black velveteen frame around the block on the pillow front (the frame is hard to see in the photos), and the back of the pillow is also covered in black velveteen. Both the front and back are interlined. Inside is a premium down and feather insert. The pillow is handstitched closed.

It is rare to find a 120-year-old quilt block in such exceptional condition, and it made up into a truly stunning accent pillow that will be the center of attention wherever you display it.

The shipping weight for the pillow is 5 pounds. Because we can't calculate shipping on Etsy, I have quoted shipping via Parcel Post (due to the size of the pillow and box) to the farthest U.S. destination. To many zip codes, it will be less, in which case I will refund and excess shipping paid. I never charge a "handling," packaging or additional fee for shipping. You will always pay only the actual cost, and I ship by the most economical and safe means possible.
