Your young child can walk around like mum with her handbag, or keep it in pride of place on a bedside table, and save her money with this unique take on a wooden moneybox.

These are made to order by me, from a fully dyed engineered MDF product called Forescolor. The organic pigment is integrated directly into the wood fibres, so it is coloured throughout, so it maintains the colour finish even if chipped or scratched in tough environments (such as the Jurassic Park of a kid's room). There are currently 5 different colours available that you can have the handbag made from.

An acrylic window allows the saver to see their money collection grow, so they are inspired to save towards their goal, and the moneybox looks great as a bedroom or playroom decor item.

The handbag money box can hold approximately $80 worth of $1 coins.

It stands 14cm high, 15cm long, and is 4.5cm thick.

There is also the (cheaper) option to have the moneybox made from plain MDF, so that you can customise it however you like! Please note, the raw MDF version is 36mm thick.

This will be listed in the description for each product. As a general rule, I use wood oils for most wooden products (it has a wonderful aroma too), and food safe mineral oil for any product that is meant to come in contact with food (or is likely to end up in a small child's mouth!)
I have had a few enquiries about the cost of postage from people in the USA. Unfortunately in each case I don't think that they realise that OzToymaker is based in Australia, so it is an international parcel price to the USA.

There is little I can do about that - the price of postage is dictated by Australia Post. Please feel free to contact me for further details or a quote on postage if you have any concerns.
