An antique-style folding knife, with a hand-forged blade of recycled high-carbon steel, and a handle carved from whitetail deer antler. The knife also features a twisted tang, scrolled lanyard loop, and pivot pin washers fileworked in the shape of little five-petaled flowers.

Dimensions: 5 1/2" long closed, 6 3/4" open, with a 3" long by 1" wide blade.

Simple folding knives such as this date back as far as the Roman period. The folding mechanism uses no spring...a "friction folder". The handle pivots on a steel pin; the extended tang on the rear of the blade and the pressure of the user's hand keep the blade open in use.

A high-quality working tool, and a unique gift for any outdoorsman (or woman). This knife would also be suitable for use in historical re-enactment.

Sold razor-sharp and ready to use...18 or older only to purchase this item, please! Shipping (included in the purchase price) will be by US Postal Service, first class with delivery confirmation. Please convo with any questions...thanks for looking!
