Unofficial Farthings reference numbers are those used by Paul & Bente R Withers, The Token Book 2, Galata 2013.
# 291*.
Rare Shaw Brothers' Liverpool (Lancashire) brass farthing token undated.
Obverse: Legend on four curved lines with examples of cutlery in centre: "SHAW BROS • 67, LORD ST. LIVERPOOL • IRONMONGERS CUTLERS &c".
Reverse: Bust of Queen Victoria to left with legend: "VICTORIA REGINA".
Milled edge.
Listed in Withers' "The Token Book 2" as "RARE".
Good collectable condition.
Measurement: 22.5 mm in diameter.
Condition: VF, great patina. Please check photos for your own grading.
