This scarf is vintage 1960s/70s. Perfect for spring and summer - it is wide enough to use it as a shawl, and yet lightweight enough to use it as a scarf.

The body of the scarf is a lightweight polyester - a sheer white with navy blue polka dots. The fabric is doubled in thickness and machine sewn on the edge. The ends are hand sewn and finished off in a heavier weight polyester - navy blue with white dots that are slightly larger in size than the dots on the body of the fabric.

Particulars:
Measurements: 16.5" (42cm) wide X 62.5" (159cm)
Condition: Mint
Handmade: The sewing was very well executed. The hand sewing on the ends is well concealed. The machine sewing is done in a very straight line, very close to the edge. There is one area - about 8" long in the center of the scarf where it is machine sewn, that the tension perhaps got a bit on the tight side and it gathers the very slightest amount.

This small little handmade 'error' in no way affects the overall loveliness of the scarf!
