Original, beautifully detailed and coloured antique double page chromolithograph of different kinds of sea fauna, printed in 1894.

6. Pentacrinus state of Antedon - Medusa's head pentacrinus, 6a. Antedon
7. Torpedo Ray - Electric Ray, 7a. Embrio of the Tropedo Ray
8. Scyllium - European Nursehound or Small-spotted Dogfish 8a. Embrio of the European nursehound

The size of the print: 12" x 9,6" (30,5 x 24,5 cm) including its border.
Published in 1894, Germany, as an illustration for "Meyers' Konversations Lexikon".

The print is in good condition and the paper shows its age with a creamy patina, perfect for framing.

Concerning the age of the paper - cca. 110 years - some spots can be occured on the margin and the reverse side, but these do not effect the quality of the lithograph itself as it can be seen on the scan.

Please note, that by antique prints due to their age some imperfections are to be expected.
