Here is a pair of vintage books about WWII written for young readers. One is entitled "The Story of D-Day" and the other is "The Story of the Paratroops"; both feature sections of incredible black and white photographs along with a great illustration at the beginning of each chapter.

The Story of D-Day was written in 1956 by Bruce Bliven Jr. and illustrated by Albert Orbaan. It has 180 pages.
The Story of the Paratroops was written by George Weller and illustrated by W.T. Mars. It has 184 pages.
Both were published by Landmark Books for Random House.

These are in good vintage condition. One (d-day) has some writing (name, etc) on the page facing the title page, the other (paratroops) has a professional-looking "H" stamp on the inside cover. Both have some minor wear to their cover's edges. However, both also have good bindings, no missing pages or tears, and are ready to read and enjoy!

Great looking books for display too! Also nice additions to any WWII collection...
