A big key to having a healthy lifestyle is taking the time to PLAN. With our Meal Planning Packet you can sit down with your meal planning pages weekly, before you head to the grocery store, and have your weekly meal planning and grocery list all in one place. Keeping these pages, week after week, will then begin to serve as a great reference in your future planning. And if you like to look at your entire month, we have you covered with a monthly page to keep track of bigger meal related events during the month.
Two of my favorite pages in this packet are the Who Loves It? chart and the Go-To Family Favorites chart. If you have a big family, like me, you will want to start with the Who Loves It? chart at each family dinner. It's not only a great reference, but a great way to get the family involved in their own healthy choices. Once everyone has taken their first few bites, pull out the chart and go around the table asking everyone to rate their meal. I like to let everyone give me a Green, Yellow, Red light. I then mark this on the chart and make a decision as to if this is something we should make again or not. Once you've done this for awhile you'll be able to begin filling in the Go-To Family Favorites chart with meals you know will put a smile on their little faces.
