With this easy pattern, you can make your own realistic beaver in a day. The pattern includes the instructions for the little stick.

Size of finished beaver made with worsted weight yarn: 5.5 inch / 14 cm high.

Materials
For this crochet beaver you'll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You'll need three colours of yarn, brown (acorn heather, 2/3 of a 100 yard skein), beige (oatmeal heather, 1/20) and brown black (black sheep heather, 1/15). For the little stick you need some left-over bits of browns and green. For the eyes I've used 7 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for a bit of extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). Lopi colour numbers: 0053, 0085 and 0052.
