Description

Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic is Lupa's first published book--but certainly not her last! It is the result of nearly a decade of intense study and practice of animal magics of all sorts. Lupa has also included a guest essay from friend and fellow practitioner, Nicholas Graham, and the artwork is by the incredibly talented Jim Towns.

This isn't your average book on the topic, though. Lupa wanted to provide the working magician, regardless of background, with a guidebook to incorporating animal magic into hir practice. This includes everyone from Chaos magicians to totemists to Wiccans, witches and pagans and so on. She wrote it primarily from the viewpoint of an experimental magician, so it tends to be quite straightforward and matter-of-fact. It's certainly not a boring trip, mind you--amid the information I've scattered some of my best anecdotes from my years of practice.

And controversy--oh, there'll be room for controversy! Not only does Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic delve into the usual realms of totemism and familiars, creating animal-based entities and shapeshifting, but also the use of animal parts in magic and a (highly disclaimered) chapter on animal sacrifice. Look for other odds and ends like cryptozoology, pop culture influences, and therianthropy, among much more! Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic fills in the blanks in the realm of animal magic! (Not recommended for domesticated magicians.)

"Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone" is published by Megalithica Books, an imprint of Immanion Press (http://www.immanion-press.com).

Your copy of "Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone" will be signed by the author (me!). Please let me know if you would like it personalized.

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
I accept Paypal, as well as checks and money orders. I do have a layaway plan, dependent on the amount of your purchase and what your ability to pay is. Payment MUST be received within seven (7) days of the sale, or else the transaction will bev canceled and the item(s) relisted.

Layaway is also available for larger orders; generally it's "What can you pay down now, and how long will it take you to pay off the rest?" though we can talk to figure out what will work best for you. Layaway payments already made may ONLY be refunded for store credit.

Due to people not following up on unpaid holds, I can no longer hold items (except custom orders) without a down payment.

Returns & exchanges

I do offer returns up to ten days after item was received. Items must be returned in the same condition that they were received in, and buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Exchanges are allowed, but I must receive the item being exchanged before I mail out the replacement.

Shipping policies

Shipping for wildlife parts is limited to the US at this time. I also follow current state restrictions on possession and sales to the best of my knowledge; buyers are responsible for knowing their country or state's restrictions; you can research US-relevant laws at http://www.thegreenwolf.com/partslaws.html

All shipping is at the buyer's risk. Once the package leaves my hands, I can't control the shipping company or its movements. Some packages includes insurance and/or tracking; you are welcome to inquire as to whether that's the case with yours.

Additional policies

I offer free repairs on anything I make; please contact me for further details. Buyer is responsible for shipping both ways.

You are responsible for knowing the legalities associated with possessing various animal parts in your state/country. If you are unsure, please contact your local fish and wildlife department. I do possess the CITES info and receipts for relevant species. You may also research US-relevant laws at http://www.thegreenwolf.com/partslaws.html

I am also a registered hide and antler dealer in the state of Oregon.
