Description

This is a photograph of a Ford Truck with a Tree Growing where the Motor had been. It is printed using archival Epson Ink on Metallic Paper. The watermark "Photograph by Cara Fuller" is NOT printed on the image though all prints are signed with a black archival ink pen as small as I can write in one lower corner.

Old Car city was established in 1931, and has grown to include over 4000 cars on 30+ acres of land in White, Georgia. For over forty years it was run as a typical junkyard, then the cars were left alone for thirty years. Packed with the classic cars motorhead's dreams are made of, metal and nature collide in a tableaux of man versus nature.

Cara Fuller teaches photography at Athens State University, located in Northern Alabama. She received her Masters in Fine Art Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and is originally from East Aurora, New York.
