Description

This hand beaded Amulet bag necklace is done in a deep purple seed bead that almost looks like it has a brownish tone to it. Not really shiny but not a matte finish either. The open topped bag is 1.5" by 2" with a small fringe on the front. You can see in the pics it has a tricot beaded edging at the top of the bag. The fringing is very full and starts at 1" at each outer edge meeting in the middle at 2 3/4". Each fringe ends with some sparkly glass bicone beads which also line the bottom edge of the bag itself. The chained neck is 30" long, more than long enough to slide over your head. If I can find a way to not add metal closures to my work I prefer to so only use metal in shorter necklaces that just cannot fit over the head. Completely hand beaded as always, just my fingers, needle and thread. My work is very strong, I make a point of running my thread through each bead as many times as possible to give you the longest wear possible. Simple and yet eyecatching. Every piece I create is a OOAK, While they all may look similar, I have never used a pattern for my bags with the exeption of the once in a while loomed piece, in which case I have created my own pattern. While free hand weaving, I place my piles of beads on the table and they direct my size and often what ever I have chosen for my accent beads is the final voice in how much fringe and what will be on the front.

I am always looking for small independant boutiques that wish to order in small (1/2 to 1dz) peices at a time to build a wholesale relationship with, My specialty is amulet bags.
