Super sale, now only 15 euro instead of 60, this 75% off, this covers hardly more the cost of clay, the gift box and the energy to fire the kiln. But is been taking up space for too long.

I got a fascination with rabbits, you'll find them everywhere in my shop. This time it's jumping back into it's rabbit hole in this hand formed ceramic (stoneware) bowl. I guess it's going after Alice :-)

A little 3D cartoon to decorate your coffee table, side board, dresser, .... I cannot stop you from putting trinkets in it, but really it is just for looking at and dreaming away with.

The bowl has a diameter of approx 6 inches or 15-16cm and is about 1,5 inch or 3-4 cm high.

Once the bowl was made, I let it dry, than I fired it twice. It's dishwasher safe but preferable wash by hand, again it's really a piece of art and not for use.

The paper gift box lined with felt, as shown in the pictures, is included. These fair-trade boxes are handmade in Nepal, this way I support a small company over there which in turn supports 10 families to have a better life and future. Why are these bowls called story bowls? Not so difficult I guess, each bowl is a scene from a story. I work very much by intuition; sometimes my hands and the clay make something unexpected appear in the bowl. Other times I know better what the scene will be after reading a story or quote.
With my friend and writer Shauna I set up a collaboration, read all about that here: http://story-crafters.blogspot.com/

If you have a story you want captured in a bowl, just send me a message and I'll propose something to you.To see all my creations go here: http://www.twotreesbelgium.etsy.com
