Rune and Bindrune Customization:

See the last photo in this listing for a reference of the Elder Futhark runic alphabet. These runes were used by the ancient Germanic people (and early Viking Age) for recording information and channeling spiritual energy.
You can choose up to three runes to be carved in your pouch, either as separate runes, or a bindrune.
A bindrune is a symbol that is made up of multiple runes, generally used as a symbolic or ritual charm.

If you do not specify a rune or bindrune or other symbol, I will carve the Vegvisir shown. The Vegvisir is a medieval Icelandic magical stave used for finding your way, be it a physical journey or spiritual path.

Are you ordering this item for a friend or loved one? Tell me their name and I will create their own special bindrune from their initials!

You can also simply tell me the intended purpose or story of the piece (protection, health, prosperity, courage, etc) and I will choose the rune or bindrune best suited to your purpose. I love making costume pieces that tell the story of a character or the wearer!
