Vintage from the 1960s

Wild vase or prop for apothecary! I had this for years and no idea who made it . Is it a vase or a part of Harry Potter’s experiments lol maybe a water flask? Unmarked speckled blue pottery - would fit into a scientific display if only it had a cork! Find one and bottle a dream! Reminds me of something out of skyrim or a witcher’s world! Will hate to see it go!

Mystery Gets Deeper After Trying to Solve: After some research I found the exact same shape listed as a Taylor Smith Taylor wine carafe , the only problem is most of the ones I've found have the go with markings of the line on them. For instance, the Boutinierre Everyyours line by TST has a pretty blue flower on top the white carafe. This is a pretty blue carafe, that could go with that line. When I looked up old brochures, I see the carafe also resembles the blue in Pebbleford style, (but that is more speckled) or the Caralina line. However the brochures I found do not even suggest a carafe existed for those two lines. Could one assume this is either a) a rare variant for Boutonierre or a b) prototype for TST or simply just C) a darn flask made by another company using a similar mold? GOOGLE: Taylor Smith taylor wine carafe

Measures over 9” high over 8” at bottom and about 2” across the mouth.

Heavy and pretty! A great apothecary looking find.

Thanks for looking.

- Did you Know that my glove molds are my most popular item on Etsy? Are you confused with what to do with them? They are most popular for industrial home decor relics, design items and make great gifts. Some are shiny and would look great in the garden or to drape your jewelry on them. Others hold paint, and are printable if you go with the matte or bisque finish. See all my glove molds here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/retrochalet?section_id=13117732
