Welcome to AmazingFunVintage.etsy.com -- I am offering for your purchase this WONDERFUL Antique "Bread Tray" made by Adams Glass Company. The pattern is known as "Horseshoe, Good Luck, and/or Prayer Rug." This oval tray has horseshoe look handles. This Bread Plate was produced by Adams and Co in 1881, it is decorated with 3 Horseshoes, one on either end as Handles and one in the center, the central Horseshoe has other design elements including Wheat and Flowers. Around the raised sides of the Bread Tray are the words Give us this day our Daily Bread and is topped by a fantastic border work of dots, arches, darts and bullets. The design is finished on the inside of each handle with an Anchor and Rope design. It measures 13 inches long and 9 inches wide. This plate is in SUPERB condition for a piece that is 130 years old. There are NO Chips or Cracks, there is some roughness around the outside edge, and there is only a few utensil marks! One of the finest pieces I have seen! This clear glass Oval serving platter or tray is in great condition and will make an awesome addition to your home - it would be a really nice gift for a friend or family member who is interested in history. Use on your Dining Table or Buffet, in your Kitchen, or use as Wall Decor. Please read ENTIRE description.
