Perfect for Veteran's Day as a display remembrance item, or for the re-enactor, this is a RARE B&B Absorbent Cotton Sterilized bandage circa World War 1.

Bauer & Black (the name on the package) was contracted by the US Army to produce these bandages during World War 1 as indicated by the package date of May 1917. The standard medical belt of the era would hold 10 of these type of bandages, and than individually opened and applied to a soldier's wounds as needed during battle.

As typical of the bandages of this era, the cotton is wrapped in wax paper. The U.S. Army Dressing packet is still sealed, but is obviously not meant for medical use and is for display only. Wear to exterior packaging as shown.

The back has developed a spot not shown in these photos. Reduced price is reflected. Please be sure of your purchase as this is a FINAL SALE.
