SIZES: Directions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14 and 16 are in parentheses.

MATERIALS:

Houndstooth Suit Unger's Les Bouquets 50 gram ball, 8 (9-10)
Tweed (MC) 5 (6-7) Rust (CC for Jacket 6 (7-8) balls of Beige (B) for Skirt
1 ball of B for Scarf and 1 MC and 1 CC for Hat.

- Number H and J aluminum afghan hook or size required to obtain the given stitch gauge.
- 2 (2 1/4-2 1/2) yards of satin lining material
- Pellon and 8 buttons for the jacket
- 7" skirt zipper
- 1 yard of tubular elastic for the skirt
- Buckram for hat

Gauge: Number J Hook 4 sts = 1" 3 rows = 1"

Checked Skirt Suit Unger's Les Bouquets 50 gram ball
2 (2-3) Rust (A) 2 (2-3) Beige (C) 3 (3-4) Tweed B for Skirt 9 (10-11) balls of C
Jacket 2 balls of C for Hat 1 ball of A, B, and C

Scarf Number H and J aluminum afghan hook or size required to obtain the given stitch gauge.

- 2 (2 1/4-2 1/2) yards of satin lining material
- Pellon
- 8 buttons for the jacket
- 7" skirt zipper
- 1 yard of tubular elastic for the skirt
- Buckram for hat
- 8 button for Jacket

NOTE: Twist yarns on the wrong side when changing colors to prevent holes. Wind yarn on bobbins and carry along a bobbin for each square. Please remember, if necessary to get required gauge, change to larger or smaller size needles.
