Description

This original oil painting is of My 85th Rodeo IPA by Woodland Empire Ale Craft in Boise, Idaho. The beer pint is pictured at La Potato, a pop-up restaurant in Spenard in Anchorage, Alaska.

The size is 6"x12", framed in a natural wood frame with hanging hardware installed.

Read the story behind this painting on my blog: https://wp.me/p3EqTk-Yu

The painting surface is high quality birch plywood that is coated with three coats of white primer, a coat of red paint, and a final layer of gold paint. When light hits this painting at certain angles, the gold paint glows through small gaps in the oil paint. This is my signature technique.

You can choose to purchase a limited-edition fine art PRINT of this painting. The image size is 6"x12", printed on 11"x14" paper.

Printed with a high-end ink-jet printer with archival ink on high-quality glossy photo paper. Packaged with backer board in a plastic bag. Shipped flat. Not matted, or framed. Signed by the artist. Limited edition of 52 prints.

In 2014 I painted a beer-themed oil painting every day for the Year of Beer Paintings series! In 2015 I started releasing a new beer-themed painting every week and posting each one on my Etsy shop, and on my blog www.realartisbetter.wordpress.com every Thirsty Thursday.
