A found text's words found buried within the text of a page from an old novel. To make these poems, I take a page of text from a book and delicately paint out all the words in white paint that are not the poem. How do I find the poem? Well, I suppose it's intuition and listening to language and to the flow of words and phrases, as my eyes dance across the page...the poems seem to announce themselves! It's delightful fun and always a surprise!

Book page measures 8 1/4" x approx. 5 1/2" and will come carefully packaged, ready for you to mount, frame or display as you desire.

Poem reads exactly as found in the text, line by line:

He promised
the confiscation of
produced by
an over-all
doing nobody any good
if not more so.
easy to
the orders
we shall see
on the other hand
his illustrious ancestor
was following his example.

Thanks so much for browsing Missouri Bend Studio...enjoy!
