Offering a wonderful antique find. Filled with recipes, photos, kitchen lore, and advice. A comprehensive cookbook, covering tons of topics-from Christmas dinner to canning fruits. A phenomenal cookbook that was THE go to book for more than a generation.

Title: The Boston Cooking School Cook Book
Author: Fannie Merritt Farmer
Publisher: Little, Brown, and Company, Boston
Date: 1919
Revised Edition: with additional chapters on the cold pack method of canning, on the drying of fruits and vegetables and on food values.

The book is in very, very good condition. The cover is tight and clean. All pages are accounted for. A very few pages have some slight edge chipping, but nothing significant. Overall top notch condition.

Very thick cookbook, 656 pages long. Full index. Filled with gorgeous full page antique ads in the back, for brands such as King Arthur Flour.

The book measures 7 1/2 inches x 5 inches x just shy of 1 1/2 inches thick. Smells fresh. As with all my items, from a non smoking home.
