The baptism gift that will start a new tradition.

The Baptism Bowl™ -- a stately little vessel with a hand pulled spout designed for use during the Baptism ceremony. It replaces the usual cruet or shell used when pouring the baptismal waters. It can also be incorporated in common “submersion” baptisms! When the celebration is over, your bowl is designed to be hung on a wall or placed on a bedside table. Personalized with name and baptism date (see below for instructions) this instant heirloom becomes a daily reminder of one’s Faith – so make sure to display it prominently.

Numbers Verse 6:24, “The Lord bless you and keep you” is individually hand-stamped on the inside rim of the bowl. In the middle is the information you provide, first and middle name of the child to be baptized, and date of baptism. Finishing off the bowl, a small cross is carved in the center - the universal sign of God’s love for mankind.

Frequently asked questions about ClareyClayworks

Yes! Your Baptism Bowl™ is specially designed to pour the baptismal waters during the ceremony. Unlike the Eucharist, which must be held in a non-breakable material (usually a precious metal,) holy water can be housed in any clean container. We have received wonderful feedback and numerous compliments from Catholic priests, deacons and other multi-denominational ministers who have used our bowls. We do recommend, as a courtesy, that you give the priest or minister notice prior to the ceremony so that he or she may properly prepare.
