The 1957 Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 12C was "the last of the classic models" according to kitchen appliance expert "Deco Dan" It was also the first 12-speed.

"How to Get the Most Out of Your Sunbeam Deluxe Automatic Mixmaster" contains everything you need to enjoy your modern home appliance! There are recipes for cakes, icings, cookies, candies, vegetables, salad dressings, desserts, pies, waffles and more! In addition to the classic recipes, there are lots of great photos of the Mixmaster in action, showing its diversity as a stationary or a hand-held mixer for "all of your mixing, mashing, whipping, beating, stirring, blending, juicing, folding and creaming" activities. Whew! I got tired just thinking about all that :-)
