It's the most terrifying time of the year, but only if you've been naughty! Krampus and all his pals from the deep dark ages have come to help you count down to Christmas. Each calendar has 24 of the weirdest, wildest, most frighteningly festive (?) legendary creatures from around the world that are associated with the Christmas holidays. You won't find chocolate behind each window, but you will find La Befana of Italy, the Mari Lwyd of Wales, all 13 of the Icelandic Yule Lads (plus their mom and their cat!), Ukraine's helpful holiday decorating spiders and many many more. Flip your calendar to the back to read a brief description of everyone you'll meet hiding behind the little paper doors. It's creepy AND educational! All images were created by Seattle artist Lynn Rosskamp and each 8.5" x 11" calendar is assembled by her and her crack team of family members and pets pressed into service for the holidays.
