A true antique from the 40's, a child's Electric Iron from Samson-United Company (leading manufacturer of electric waffle makers & other small electric items back-in-the-day). Our piece is chrome with green decorated enamel, has a wood finger grip handle plus cloth cord with plug.

This collectible was the rage for little girls since it got hot enough to really iron. Fairly heavy, there's a long cloth cord that's permanently attached. In good condition for its age but the cord is frayed & plug is unusable so I did not try to heat it. Comments I've read about these scarce Samson-United irons confirm they often are operable today after the cord & plug are checked over but I cannot confirm.

Measurements: 5" long, 3-1/2" high, 2-1/2" wide

As a FYI, USPS shipments to Alaska or Hawaii are a bit higher than noted in this listing. If you're interested in International delivery, please contact us for current rates to your destination. We will refund unused shipping less a small handling fee.
