Description

Manufactured in Binghamton, New York by Ansco around 1949 the Shur Shot Camera is a simple cardboard box covered with leatherette. A structural panel of wood behind the metal faceplate holds the shutter mechanism, with a fixed aperture of approximately f/13. The image is formed by a single backwards-facing meniscus lens. This one is in good condition, the shutter cocks and fires. This Old Ansco Box Camera is used, sold as a collectible, as is, as shown. Measures 5 x 4 x 3 inches approximately.
