8 in. x 10 in.

The buyer will receive No. 3/10 of this Limited Edition.

The original screen print pictured is the first in a Limited Edition of 10 and is no longer available.
The first and second prints of the edition were donated to two Bushwick (Brooklyn, NY) galleries, Agape Enterprise and Momenta Art respectively, for their annual fundraiser auctions.

Each print is signed, dated and numbered by the artist (me).
All materials are Archival.

Details:

This edition is of water-based black silkscreen ink on linen stretched on a wooded stretcher.
Please note: All works are hand-printed original limited edition screen prints so any small imperfections or irregularities (smudges, brush strokes, etc.) are integral characteristics of the genre. They are to be expected and embraced as they are what differentiates your numbered edition from the others in the series.

About the Runway Series:

I make paintings and other large work for exhibition in contemporary art galleries, but it is my intention to always offer a limited edition of smaller "domestic-sized" screen prints of these images at King Arts and Vintage. The silkscreen process is a fun way to stretch as an artist and it offers buyers a great way to start their art collection with a work of exceptional value at an affordable price.

Personal disaster and loss of control are the overriding themes in my work, including this print edition. My depiction of runway model wipeouts is a distillation of the same one-false-move that brings us to the current moment in our collective history. The runway figures function as anonymous, disguised, unattributed identities failing miserably in an image fixed forever, reflecting back on us.

Thanks for considering my work!
