Description
This set of 6 primitive egg ornaments is made from scraps of authentic Civil War era quilts! Made from 2 different "Log Cabin" quilts, these tattered eggs feature brown & peacock blue colors. Each primitive egg is about 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" in size. I cut each egg by hand, thus the size and shape will vary a tiny bit. These eggs have been grunged and stiffened and each has a twine hanger attached.
The first picture shows the front of these eggs and the second picture shows the back side of the eggs. This is the original quilt on both sides!
The antique quilts I use in my creations have lived long and useful lives before I rescue the best of what's left and upcycle them into contemporary folk art & home decor.
These tattered egg ornaments were made in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio in Sacramento, California.

Cancellations are accepted prior to shipping. I ship the same day or next day, Monday thru Friday excluding U.S. holidays (will ship on Saturday if I'm near a post office).

DAMAGED ITEMS: Please contact me within 48 hours of receiving a damaged order. Please provide clear pictures of the damaged item and the damaged packaging in your initial contact. Please save all packaging because the shipping company may need to see these materials.

I am delighted to combine shipping whenever possible! The total shipping cost will be shown in your cart after you've added multiple items from my shop to your cart. If you use the "Buy It Now" button for multiple items being shipped to the same address, I will combine shipping whenever possible and refund overpaid postage.
