Beautifully detailed, two-sided antique engraving of african artifacts.

The print shows different kinds of artifacts, like amulets, headdresses, jewel combs, apron, dagger, throwing knife, axe, throwing stick, carved club, sword, wooden vessel and basket of the african tribes and people.

The size of the print: 9,6" x 6,3" (24,5 x 16 cm) including its border.
Printed in 1902, Biblographisches Institut Leipzig Germany, as an illustration for the 6th edition of "Meyers' Konversations Lexikon".

The print is in good condition, the paper shows its age with creamy patina, perfect for framing.

Concerning the age of the paper - cca. 110 years - some spots can be occured on the margin, but these do not effect the quality of the print itself as it can be seen on the scan.

Please note, that by antique prints due to their age some imperfections are to be expected.
