Original, beautifully detailed and coloured antique chromolithograph of different types of african people.

Humans often categorize themselves in terms of race or ethnicity, sometimes on the basis of differences in appearance. Human racial categories have been based on both ancestry and visible traits, especially skin color, hair texture and facial features.

The size of the print: 9,6" x 6,3" (24,5 x 16 cm) including its border.
Printed in 1902, Bibliographisches Institut Leipzig Germany, as an illustration for the 6th edition of "Meyers' Konversations Lexikon".

The print is in good condition, the paper shows its age with creamy patina, perfect for framing.

Concerning the age of the paper - cca. 110 years - some spots can be occured on the margin and the reverse side, but these do not effect the quality of the print itself as it can be seen on the scan.

Please note, that by antique prints due to their age some imperfections are to be expected.
