::What are all these yarn bases?::
Yardage and fiber content for each of my bases is listed in the "About" section of this shop. Go to https://www.etsy.com/shop/dyedianadye#about and make sure you click the "More" link. Or, just scroll to the very bottom of this page to see them in my FAQs.

::What is the Dragon Clan?::
Ah, the Dragon Clan! It all started with a photo that ignited a whole new thread devoted to dragons and other beasties. Almost immediately, someone mentioned LittleGreenDragon and her patterns, I said I was a huge fan and that we should have a KAL, and who pops in but Anne-Lise, the dragon herself, saying she would design a Dragon-Inspired-Shawl! I was overcome and overjoyed, and HAD to create a special set of colorways. So was born the Dragon Clan, a regally rich and color-saturated family who share the same speckle blend - mostly deep blues and flashes of gold - and are descended from the great dragons of Norse legend. They are Jord {earth}, Eld {fire}, Vin {wine}, Juvel {gem}, Himmel {sky}, and Skog {forest}.

::Will you cake my yarn?::
I will happily cake your yarn! See this listing to order: https://www.etsy.com/dyedianadye/listing/247281984/

::What about new colorways? And are there scheduled updates?::
In addition to some special events, there are regular releases of brand new colors directly to Dye-to-Order. If you're a Ravelry member, visit https://www.ravelry.com/groups/dyedianadye to be in the know and join the conversation.

::How should I care for my yarn?::
Hand washing is recommended. The dyes I use are low-impact Procion MX fiber reactive dyes in a cold water process, randomly distributing color, sometimes in multiple baths to produce a glazed and layered effect. There is no regular striping or predictable pooling. In the silk blend yarns, both the silk and plant fibers take up the color. You may have a slight coloring of water in the first bath, but the color of your yarn will not change.

Colors strike and move differently on different fibers. In addition, color movement and flow will vary from base to base and lot to lot and skein to skein. If your garment requires more than a single skein, consider alternating between skeins.

And, thank you for visiting!
