This letterpress print was made in a summer full of tomatoes. Heirloom varieties grown from saved seeds, bruised tomatoes that went straight into salsa, and stretching the last days of the season with a homemade tomato-tent.

Two very limited editions of 15 signed and numbered prints, printed in green and black ink. One set has additional red watercolor highlights. Letterpress printed on Reich Savoy, a tree-free 100% cotton paper that is FSC-certified.

Features a detailed illustration of tomatoes and the quote by Gandhi, "To forget how to dig the earth and tend the soil is to forget ourselves."

The paper size is approximately 6 x 12 inches, and letterpress printed by hand on a Chandler and Price antique printing press from 1925.

This print is shipped safely and securely in a cellophane bag with a pressboard insert, and is shipped flat instead of in a tube. If you are in Vancouver BC and want to avoid expensive shipping, please contact me for pickup.
